KOHISTAN: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the president of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), and Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) chief said on Sunday that the coalition government has saved Pakistan from economic default.

Addressing a rally in Kohistan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that when the PDM government came into power eight months ago, the country was on the brink of default but due to the tireless efforts by the government, now it is going towards stability.

PTI Government was Focused on Political Victimization

Criticizing the former prime minister Imran Khan, he said that the Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf (PTI) government never prioritized development and prosperity but only political victimization.

Imran Khan put thousands of politicians behind the bars and he always tried to use the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to advance his own political agenda.

PTI government brought political instability and chaos in Pakistan

He said that under the PTI government, political instability prevailed in the country. It was a government, established through rigging in 2018 which destroyed Pakistan. “Instability and chaos took the country to its grips and thanks to social media, the people know well about the real situation under the premiership of Imran Khan”, Maulana said.

He added that it was the incumbent coalition government that saved Pakistan from further instability and deterioration.

Maulana said that Imran Khan claimed that he was removed from power through a conspiracy but “We ousted him in a constitutional way and saved the country from further destruction”.
