ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has inaugurated a dedicated Trafficking-in-Persons (TIP) Hotline at its headquarters, establishing a comprehensive system to efficiently address human trafficking cases.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), focuses on providing swift services to victims and ensuring a systematic approach to case resolution.
Shireen Malik Sher, Additional Director at FIA and the project’s focal person, emphasized the project’s remarkable efficiency and quick implementation, attributing its success to the supervision of Israr Ahmed Khan, Director Anti-Human Smuggling Directorate of FIA.
The TIP Hotline, officially launched by Director General FIA Mohsin Hassan, stands out as a pivotal step in combating human trafficking, offering a mechanism for prompt response and seamless coordination among various concerned departments.
