ANKARA: The International Association Football Federation, or FIFA, has revealed the finalists for the 2023 Best Men’s Player award, Turkish media reported on Friday.
Inter Miami’s Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, Paris Saint Germain’s French attacker Kylian Mbappe and Manchester City’s Norwegian star Erling Haaland will compete for the prestigious award.
The winner will be announced on January 15 at a ceremony in London.
Last year Messi and Mbappe, were FIFA World Cup finalists, with Messi winning the award.
The award, launched in 2016, is presented annually to the best player of the previous sports calendar year.
