TURBAT: Unknown gunmen opened fire on a group of people in Turbat, Balochistan, on Tuesday, killing five of them, including a police officer.
According to the details, the people were attacked in Naseerabad. The dead bodies were shifted to the hospital; however, as per the initial report, the identity of the martyred remains unknown. The search operation for hunting the attackers has been initiated.
In July, an explosion near Shara-e-Iqbal, Bukhari Centre in Quetta resulted in the tragic deaths of four individuals, while eight others were injured. Police authorities reported that the blast occurred as the vehicle of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Saddar was passing through the area.
It’s worth noting that the SP Investigation Saddar was not in his vehicle at the time of the explosion. Additionally, numerous cars were damaged as a consequence of the blast. —APP
