KARACHI: Forza FC clinched victory as the champions of the Men’s Futsal National Cup in the Karachi Edition, while Karachi City secured the top position in the Women’s Futsal category on Sunday night at Legends Arena in Karachi.
Throughout the tournament, Forza FC showcased exceptional performance. In the final showdown against Abdul FC, they displayed remarkable skill and determination. Despite the fiercely contested match ending in a 3-3 draw, both teams fought relentlessly until the last moment.
The game proceeded to a thrilling penalty shootout, where Forza FC emerged triumphant with a 4-1 victory over Abdul FC, securing the coveted Futsal National Cup Karachi Edition trophy. Goals for Forza were netted by Ali Riaz and Ariz, while Alamghir Ghazi, Kaleemullah, and Taj Shams found the net for Abdul FC.
In the women’s final, Karachi City exhibited dominance over Karachi United with an astounding 11-0 win. Rameed Farid emerged as the standout performer, scoring an incredible 6 goals and playing a pivotal role in her team’s resounding victory to claim the championship title.
