Funeral Prayer of Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Haider Offered in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayer of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider (age 42 years, resident of DHA-2, Islamabad), who embraced martyrdom in the Tirah Valley of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was offered on Tuesday at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi.

The martyred officer of the Pakistan Army was laid to rest with full military honour at Islamabad.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Defense Minister Lieutenant General (retired) Anwar Ali Hyder, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and a large number of senior civil and military officers, soldiers, citizens and relatives of the martyr attended the funeral prayer, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Meanwhile, funeral prayers of Naik Khushdil Khan (age 31 years, resident of Lakki Marwat district), Naik Rafique Khan (age 27 years, resident of Charsadda district), and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (age 33 years, resident of Murree district), were also offered at their respective hometowns, ISPR said.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces stand resolute and committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs.
