Gilgit-Baltistan Observe Kashmir Solidarity Day, Condemn Indian Brutalities

GILGIT: The residents of Gilgit Baltistan came together in rallies across the region to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day on Monday.

Speakers addressing the rally participants emphasized that Kashmir holds paramount importance for Pakistan, serving as its main artery. The people of Gilgit-Baltistan expressed their unwavering support for their oppressed Kashmiri brothers and sisters, standing united against Indian oppression.

A huge rally took place in Gilgit city, attended by the Special Assistant to CM GB for Information, Iman Shah, Law Secretary GB Rahim Gul, district administration officers, students, and a large number of locals. The participants passionately chanted slogans condemning Indian atrocities. The main rally, originating from Benazir Chowk Gilgit, culminated at Ghari Bagh.

During the event, Special Assistant on Information Iman Shah addressed the rally, condemning India for causing the martyrdom of innocent Kashmiris in the valley.

He reiterated the enduring solidarity of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan with Kashmir, emphasizing that the day is approaching when the people of Kashmir will breathe in free air. Shah called on the United Nations to urgently address this critical issue and play a practical role in securing the birthright of oppressed Kashmiris.
