ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karats of gold witnessed a decrease of Rs.1,400 and was available in the market at Rs.215,100 on Saturday against the previous day’s Price of Rs.216,500 per tola.
Meanwhile, as reported by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went down by Rs.1,200 to close at Rs.184,414 from its last day rates of Rs.185,614, while the prices of 10 grams of the 22 karats of the yellow metal decreased to Rs.169,046 from its previous Price of Rs170,146.
Unlike the gold prices, the Price per tola and ten grams of the white plat (Silver) observed no change for the last couple of days, and on Saturday, also remained constant at Rs.2,550 and 2,186.21, respectively.
Gold Price in International Market.
Like the local bullion market, the Price of the yellow plate in the international market also recorded a decline and went down by $5 per ounce to settle at $2,001 from its previous day rates of $2006 per ounce.
The Price of gold in the local bullion market is mostly influenced by the rates in the international market as well as due to changes in the value of the local currency against the US dollar.
