Gold Price Sees Decline in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: After reaching unprecedented highs in previous sessions, gold prices experienced a decline in both local and international markets on Thursday. In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs250,200, marking a single-day decrease of Rs1,700.

According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold was Rs214,506 after a decline of Rs1,458 from the previous day’s rates.

On Wednesday, gold prices per tola had surged to a new peak of Rs251,900. However, on Thursday, the international gold rate experienced a slight easing, as reported by APGJSA. It settled at $2,395 per ounce (with a $20 premium), reflecting a decrease of $17 during the day.
