Despite the decrease in the international market, the price of the yellow plate in the local market went up. Bullion experts believe it is a challenging situation for the country in the context of the ongoing financial crises and devaluation of the local currency.

A couple of weeks before, gold price reached its historic high of Rs 240,000 per tola in the local market.
