Dar also criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan, saying, “Imran Khan is doing the chaotic politics. He is continuously giving irresponsible statements against the state institutions and inciting people, which is very unfortunate”.

He said that the government was also weighing in on options to end the interest-based economic system in the country.

“Pakistan still has an interest-based economy; we are trying to change it with the Islamic economic system. However, in the Islamic system too, it is necessary to keep the assets impledged”, Dar said.
