GAZA: Hamas’ head of International Relations Basem Nail has condemned the international community for failing to stop the “genocidal war” in Gaza that has killed over 21,000 people

According to Al Jazeera, Nail, in a televised statement, said the US administration was sponsoring and backing the crimes being committed with Israeli hands. “While these crimes have been committed with Israeli hands, they were sponsored and backed up by the US administration. We, therefore, hold the Biden administration, especially in the president (Joe Biden) himself, and his foreign and defence secretaries accountable for their direct role in sponsoring and orchestrating this ongoing genocide against our people,” he said in a televised statement.

“We also hold the international community accountable for their failure to stop the genocide,” Naim added.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested 14 Palestinians from Jalazone refugee camp in West Bank in a recent raid Saturday. Israeli forces are firing heavy artillery shells east of the Rafah border crossing in southern Gaza, Al Jazeera reported quoting a correspondent in the region.

Media reports suggest that Israeli forces have bombed the centre of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Israeli forces have been trying to take control of the camp, but they are facing strong resistance from Palestinian fighters.

Furthermore, Israeli forces have arrested 15 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since dawn, according Wafa news agency. According to the claim, two persons were detained by Israeli forces south of Hebron, beaten, and had their cars seized. They also attacked a young man south of Nablus and arrested one east of Nablus.

Following a raid on the Jalazoun refugee camp north of Ramallah, Israeli troops also captured 10 Palestinians, including two young men from Beit Iba, west of Nablus.
