High-level Saudi Business Delegation Arrives in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A high-level Saudi business delegation arrived in Pakistan on Sunday with the aim of signing agreements and MoUs for investment in different sectors of the Pakistani economy.

The high-level delegation was led by Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Minister of Investment, Ibrahim Al Mubarak.

Pakistan’s Federal Ministers Musadik Malik and Jam Kamal Khan welcomed the Saudi delegation upon its arrival in Islamabad.

Heads of over thirty Saudi companies from agriculture, retail, technology, and corporate sectors are part of this high-level delegation.

The visit will bolster foreign investment in Pakistan, and give new momentum to Pakistan-Saudi economic ties, as was envisioned during the recent visit of the Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the two-day Pakistan-Saudi Arabia investment conference will begin in Islamabad tomorrow (Monday) to promote bilateral trade and investment.

A fifty-member high-level business delegation from Saudi Arabia will attend the conference to explore investment opportunities in different sectors as well as to forge strong bonds with local entrepreneurs.

Some thirty Saudi companies representing different economic sectors, agriculture, including information technology, telecoms, energy, mining exploration, aviation, construction, and human resource development are part of the delegation.
