ISLAMABAD: The Hindu community in Islamabad and Rawalpindi joyously celebrated the spring festival of Holi on Monday.
Organized by the Pakistan Hindu and Sikh Welfare Association, special worship services were held at the temple, and devotees were given parshad as part of the celebrations.
A significant number of Hindus enthusiastically participated in the festivities, engaging in the tradition of throwing colors at each other.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar, a Member of the National Assembly and the patron-in-chief of the Pakistan Hindu Council, emphasized that the essence of celebrating Holi lies in promoting love and harmony among all religions.
He extended warm wishes to the Hindu community, expressing his hopes for a joyous Holi, the vibrant festival of colors.
