Hollywood Film on Pakistan’s Culture to Highlight Country’s Soft Image: Minister

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, expressed enthusiasm about the production of a Hollywood film showcasing Pakistan’s culture, stating it will offer the world a glimpse into the country’s rich heritage and positive image.

Tarar made these remarks during a meeting with members of the Hollywood production team, currently in Pakistan to shoot the film on Pakistani culture.

Tarar said that this collaboration marks a significant milestone for the Pakistani film industry, with discussions focusing on Pakistan’s cultural legacy and history. He also briefed the Hollywood team about the progress made in Pakistan’s film industry.

Tarar extended gratitude to the Hollywood team for choosing to highlight Pakistani culture, describing it as an honor for the nation. He emphasized Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, stating that its history, literature, music, and art are globally appreciated.

The minister expressed confidence that the film would showcase the beauty and diversity of Pakistan to the world. He also highlighted government initiatives to revive the cinema, including tax incentives and a film finance fund.

In response, the Hollywood team commended Pakistan’s filmmaking potential and pledged support to the local industry’s growth. They expressed gratitude for the cooperation received during their visit, praising Pakistan’s cultural heritage and its people.

The delegation included James MC Milan, Andrew James Fiero, Luisa Iskin, Sadia Ashraf, Badr Ikram, and Mashal Saqib.
