ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday dismissed 13 cases filed against former minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader, Ali Amin Gandapur.

Gandapur was accused of provoking violence during protest demonstrations on May 25 and a protest against the decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) regarding disqualification of party chairman Imran Khan.

IHC expressed anger over Islamabad police over failure to present evidence against Gandapur.

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has accepted Gandapur’s plea to dismiss the cases.

Justice Jehangiri inquired about the cases and allegations against Gandapur. He ordered the state prosecutor to present evidence.

Unfortunately, police failed to provide any evidence against the Gandapur.
