Illegal Foreigners Continue to Leave Pakistan

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Home and Tribal Affairs Department Saturday affirmed that the repatriation of foreigners who are residing in the country illegally, including those living in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, continues.

According to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Home Department data, 2,18,482 people have left through Torkham. Similarly, 3263 foreign refugees went back to their homeland from Angoor Ada.

Likewise, many foreigners have also been returned to their home country from the Khar Lachi border, the Department claimed.

The Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that around 222,164 illegal foreigners have left for their homeland since September 17.

A total of 305 undocumented foreigners were repatriated through the Torkham border, adding to the return of 3,263 Afghans who were residing illegally. Additionally, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced the repatriation of 2,476 illegal Afghan residents so far. —APP
