Imran Khan Condemns Attack on Jinnah House

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and former prime minister Imran Khan on Friday condemned the May 9 attack on Jinnah House, saying it brought ‘disgrace’ to the country.

Talking to journalists during his appearance at an Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, he said that the attack should not have happened.

After Imran’s arrest, angry protestors had torched the historical Jinnah House (Coprs Commander House Lahore).

In his conversation with journalists, Imran Khan maintained that “every Pakistani” was condemning the event.

Talking about the Punjab caretaker information minister Amir Meer’s claim that Imran Khan was hiding terrorists responsible for the 9 May riots inside Zaman Park, the PTI chairman said that he had opened his residence for the media to see. He once again emphasised that the government was lavelling baseless allegations.

Imran Khan criticizes PDM government

Imran Khan said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement government actions and human rights violations have brought the nation to disrepute.

He claimed that the PDM had trapped itself by apprehending “7,000” people following his arrest.

Imran Khan said that one-sided talks cannot take place with the government. PTI had been talking about dialogue for the past 11 months but in vain.

Speaking about the PTI future, Imran Khan said that a party with immence vote bank cannot be defeated by the tactics applied by the government.

He claimed that the party would once again emerge victorious in elections.
