RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan declined to meet Sher Afzal Marwat, as his name was not included in the list of scheduled meetings provided by the founder himself.

Tuesday’s list of meetings was provided by Imran Khan who is currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail. The list did not include the name of Sher Afzal Marwat, according to a local news channel.

It is to be noted that a prearranged list is provided in advance for meetings with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

Sher Afzal Marwat Dropped

On Monday, it was reported that PTI has changed the nominee for the all-important chairmanship of the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee. In the latest move, the party decided to replace Marwat with Sheikh Waqas Akram as its nominee for the Public Accounts Committee.

The decision to withdraw Sher Afzal Marwat’s name and nominate Sheikh Waqas Akram was made during a political committee meeting, despite Marwat not being consulted or invited to the session.
