Interior Minister Directs Foolproof Measures for Protection of Chinese Nationals

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has issued stringent directives for safeguarding Chinese nationals in the country, official media reported on Saturday.

Presiding over a meeting in Islamabad regarding security protocols for Chinese citizens, he emphasized that ensuring the safety of foreigners, particularly those from China, remains of paramount importance.

Naqvi instructed the strict enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance the security of foreign nationals, particularly Chinese visitors.  Emphasizing the significance of thwarting any potential threats, he underscored that Pakistan remains resolute in its commitment to counter any attempts by adversaries to disrupt the nation’s progress and prosperity.

During the session, attendees were briefed on the comprehensive measures put in place to protect foreigners, with special attention given to Chinese nationals.
