Interior Minister Orders Crackdown Against Electricity, Gas Theft

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday directed to launch a massive crackdown against electricity and gas theft across Pakistan.

Chairing over a meeting in Islamabad, the interior minister gave the special task to FIA and also constituted special teams against electricity and gas theft. He directed to take legal action against people involved in gas and power theft.

During the meeting, the FIA officials also presented a detailed report about a boat accident in Greece.

It was also informed that the government’s strict action against “Hundi” and “Hawala” has strengthened the value of the national currency.

Interior Minister Direct Action Against Human Trafficking

The minister directed to ensure legal action against those involved in human trafficking. He further ordered tight noose against those involved in the “Hundi” and “Hawala” business.
