XI’AN, China: The 2023 International Ancient Walls and Castles Alliance Conference started in Xi’an, the capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, on Wednesday.

Under the theme “Protection and Sustainable Development of Ancient Walls,” this two-day event showcases the most recent conservation initiatives undertaken globally for old walls and castles while also investigating creative and inclusive methods for safeguarding cultural artifacts.

The seminar is being attended by approximately forty experts from ten governing agencies of ancient walls and castles.
