Investigative Training Workshop for Police

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police recently organized a comprehensive training workshop dedicated to elevating the skills of its Police Investigation officers. This initiative, spearheaded by Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, reflects a commitment to implementing capacity-building programs aimed at fostering a more professional and effective approach to handling various investigation cases.

The workshop, held at the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad, drew the participation of investigation officers from the Islamabad Capital Police. The program included valuable insights from esteemed judges and lawyers who were invited as guest speakers. They delivered lectures covering topics such as the improvements in investigations post the implementation of Police Order 2002, basic and advanced investigation techniques, the Pakistan Penal Code, and crime scene investigation.

The key focus of the initiative is to equip police personnel with enhanced skills, ensuring their effectiveness in resolving cases. By emphasizing a professional approach, the Islamabad Capital Police aims to elevate the standards of investigations and strengthen the overall criminal justice system.

These training workshops represent an ongoing effort by the police force to invest in the continuous professional development of its personnel, aligning with modern investigative methodologies and legal frameworks.
