ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in Islamabad to discuss bilateral relations, regional and global developments, local media reported on Monday.
During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of bolstering efforts to strengthen bilateral relations across various sectors. They reaffirmed their commitment to fostering peace and engaging in constructive talks to address regional challenges.
The meeting underscores the importance of diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Iran to promote mutual understanding and cooperation in the face of regional development.
Earlier, President Raisi arrived in Islamabad in the morning for a three-day official trip, along with his spouse and a delegation comprising key ministers and businessmen.
