WASHINGTON: Donald Trump has said that he preferred Ivanka Trump to replace him as host of The Apprentice in the new book.
Donald Trump in an excerpt shared via Variety said that the best person to hire for the host would be Ivanka. Not only that Donald Trump wanted his sons Don Trump Jr and Eric to take over the American show.
However, the TV network had different point of views, adding, “NBC didn’t like Trump’s idea because it became like a family show.
Donald Trump revealed that he told the TV network that there was nobody it is going to hire that will come even close to her daughter. However, the show came back with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The New Celebrity Apprentice, hosted by the new host was premiered in 2017 but it only ran for just one season.
Earlier in an interview, Arnold said, “With Trump being involved in the reality show people have a very bad taste and did not want to attend as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the TV show.
