LOS ANGELES: Hollywood icon Jennifer Aniston has revealed the profound impact of prioritizing sleep in her life after years of struggling with insomnia. The Emmy winner candidly shared her insights in a throwback interview, emphasizing the value of sleep, a lesson she learned after taking it for granted in her youth.

In an interview with InStyle, Aniston reflected on her past attitude towards sleep, saying, “Sleep is extraordinary. It’s beautiful.” She admitted, “But, boy, did I take it for granted when we were young. When you’re younger, you kind of take it for granted. You think, ‘I can survive on three-to-five hours of sleep and I feel great,’ and then, all of a sudden, it just starts not to feel great, and your performance isn’t as up to par as it should be.”

Jennifer Aniston an Advocate for Raising Sleep Awareness

Realizing the impact of sleep deprivation on her work, creativity, and overall well-being, Aniston became an advocate for raising awareness about sleep struggles. As part of the Seize and Night Day campaign, she delved into the significance of quality sleep, stating, “All of your body is getting all the work done that it put itself through during the day. You realize a lack of sleep leads to all sorts of health issues.”

Aniston also highlighted the irreversible nature of sleep deficits, stating, “Unfortunately, lost sleep isn’t something you can get back; no matter how long you snooze on the weekends, you can’t make up sleep. It’s a deficit you won’t ever get back.”
