AMMAN: In a recent phone call on Sunday, King Abdullah II of Jordan and US President Joe Biden deliberated on the latest regional developments, particularly focusing on efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

During the conversation, King Abdullah emphasized the critical importance of immediately halting any escalation in the region, cautioning that further escalatory actions by Israel could widen the conflict across the region.
