Jumma-tul-Wida Ends with Prayers for Hope and Peace

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani spirit of perseverance remains unbroken on Jumma-tul-Wida, the last Friday of Ramadan, mosques like the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad overflow with worshippers seeking solace and offering prayers.

This day of devotion transcends the physical limitations, uniting the nation in faith. It serves as a reminder that the nation holds onto hope and a deep sense of community.

This spirit of unity extends to global issues as well. Al-Quds Day, observed on the last Friday of Ramadan, unites Muslims worldwide in support of the Palestinian people.

In a powerful display of solidarity, ambassadors from Muslim countries join Pakistani worshippers at the Faisal Mosque, offering prayers for peace in Palestine.

The road to a better Pakistan may be long, but embers of hope flicker brightly.

Special prayers were also offered for unity of Muslims worldwide and the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

The religious leaders and Imams on the day highlighted importance of Ramadan and the Juma-tul-Wida for Muslims.

Security arrangements were made in several mosques to prevent any untoward incident.
