LONDON: Prince William and Kate Middleton are making efforts to reconcile with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry amid ongoing tensions within the royal family.

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are more open to reconciliation than Harry and Meghan are perceived to be. Quinn noted that while Kate and William are keen on mending fences, the spotlight on them makes maintaining the feud more challenging.

Quinn explained to the Mirror, “Keeping up the feud is easier for Meghan and Harry in many ways because in the States they may be celebrities but they are not under the spotlight in the way Kate and William are.”

The royal expert also revealed that Kate and William have extended an invitation for Meghan and Harry to bring their children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK for a visit in hopes of fostering reconciliation. However, Quinn noted that the suggestion has not yet led to any significant progress.

“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far,” Quinn stated.
