Kenya: Entrepreneur Makes Snacks from Local Grains

NAIROBI: Local African grains such as millet and sorghum are known to be nutritious but are not popular with many people, especially the Gen Zers who view the grains as food for the low-income people poor. To change this view, a Kenyan entrepreneur is utilizing the grains to make snacks and breakfast cereals to promote consumption of local grains and foster environmental sustainability.
