KP CM Condemns Attack on Police Van in Bajaur

PESHAWAR: Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Arshad Hussain Shah has strongly condemned a bomb explosion near a police van in the Bajaur district on Monday killing five police officials.

Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the terrorist attack, CM Shah conveyed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs. He offered prayers for the martyrs’ souls and patience for the bereaved families.

CM Shah directed the district administration to ensure the prompt provision of medical aid to the injured in the blast. Emphasizing the significant sacrifices made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the protection of people’s lives and property, he asserted that such cowardly incidents could not demoralize the police force.

He saluted the sacrifices of the police on behalf of the people and the government of the province, stating that these acts of terror would not deter the morale of the police. CM Shah vowed unwavering support for the families of the martyrs, assuring that they would be assisted in every possible way.
