KSA Re-elected to Membership of UNESCO Executive Board: SPA

Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the re-election of the Kingdom as a member of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for 2023-2027, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was re-elected to the Executive Board during the elections that occurred in the 42nd General Assembly of the organization, emphasizing that membership contributes to strengthening the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) future directions for global communities, building bridges of communication and talks between people, and supporting innovation and arts, the SPA maintained.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has joined UNESCO since its establishment in 1945, a body specialized in the sector of education, culture, and science with a membership of 194 nations, based in Paris, France, the SPA further maintained.
