KSA’s Non-oil Exports Increase by 4.4% in October

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics said on Thursday that the Kingdom’s non-oil exports increased by 4.4 % in October 2022 as compared to October 2021.

The General Authority for Statistics added that Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports were driven by allied and chemical industries during the period. The report added that total goods exports raised by 13. 9% in October 2022 to SR120.7 billion.

Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports raised by 39.3 % in Oct to SR63.9 billion compared to SR45.9 billion in Oct 2021. The report stated that the most significant merchandise in October 2022 was mechanical appliances, machinery, and electrical equipment.

The report said that Japan and South Korea came in next with both at 10.3 % of the Kingdom’s total exports. The Kingdom’s top ten exporting countries acquired 68.2 % of exports, whereas its top ten importing countries accounted for 62.7 % during the period of Oct 2022.
