KSrelief Distributes Zakat Al-Fitr in Yemen’s Hadramout

HADRAMOUT: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has started the distribution of 3,226 bags of rice in various directorates in Hadramout Governorate of Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

This initiative is part of the Zakat Al-Fitr project in Yemen for the current year, benefiting 22,582 individuals. Under the program  Zakat Al-Fitr will be distributed to eligible families in the governorates of Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, Lahij, Aden, Marib, Hadramout, Al-Mahra, and Hajja.

The project benefited 31,333 families totaling 219,331 individuals.

It supports food security for vulnerable groups during Eid Al-Fitr.

The program comes within the framework of humanitarian efforts Saudi Arabia provides through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to end the suffering of the Yemeni people during the humanitarian crisis.
