WASHINGTON: Lady Gaga has shared first official poster from her upcoming film, Joker: Folie à Deux on her social media account.
She took to Instagram and also confirmed the trailer of her sequel to 2019’s Oscar-winning blockbuster is set to be released in the current month. She said that the movie will be released on April 9.
The first picture by Warner Bros, features Joaquin Phoenix as Joker holding a cigarette in his hand while also holding lady Gaga, who is playing the role as Harley Quinn under a bright spotlight.
In the caption, the Poker Face crooner included the film’s tagline, lettering, “The world is a stage.”
The film was directed by Todd Phillips and follows the legacy of the first Joker film, which collected over $1 billion at box office.
The first original Joker film also earned a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars at the same ceremony Phoenix also won Best Actor for his leading role in the movie.
