BEL AIR, NEW YORK:  Jennifer Lopez spoke about her relationship with Ben Affleck after calling off their 2004 wedding due to heartbreak.

The Marry Me actress was open about her 17-year separation from the Argo actor and their subsequent reunion. Their separation was caused by the media’s overzealous interest in their relationship.

JLo claimed she felt like she was “going to die” after splitting up with Affleck back in 2004 during an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.

But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending, she added. The ending is the most Hollywood-unlike and would never happen. That is never going to occur. We won’t write that because no one would accept its conclusion.

In her reflection on how the couple rekindled their romance, Lopez said they were destined to part ways only to come back together. She added that because they were older now, they were more certain of their love than ever.

“I believe that as we get older, we realise that things are much clearer because, even back in ‘Then,’ when we felt that way, we now understand. We are aware now, she said.

And there are no queries or statements along the lines of, “Well, let’s see how this goes. Like, “Nope, it’s just you and me.” I’m done now. from beginning to end. I’m done now. It’s going to be us,” the diva from Hollywood chimed in.

Lopez was then questioned by the host, “Was it quick? When you reunited and realised that the love still existed,

“Immediate? As Lowe finished his sentence, Lopez chimed in, “We’re not wasting any more time. That was immediate.

“We know we’re not. To allow our children to travel with us, we had to move slowly and carefully. because they weren’t alive during those earlier years. They think, “Wow, they’ve known each other forever,” after that. The end of that.

“We did know each other for a very long time, but we had to take these different paths, do other lovely things, and have these amazing kids.

“But when we reconciled, the universe and God and, as it would have it… Once we were full enough, complete enough, and able to truly stand on our own two feet, as the universe would have it, we were reintroduced into each other’s life.

The tune appeared through a gap in the clouds, and it seemed as if it were the end: “Boom, that’s it. We both felt quite confident, Lopez said.
