Weather Update: Mainly Cold, Dry Weather Expected in Most Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Most regions across the country are anticipated to experience predominantly cold and dry conditions over the next twelve hours. Expect smog and fog in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during morning and night.

Recorded temperatures in major cities this morning were: Islamabad at six degrees Celsius, Lahore at eleven, Karachi at nineteen, Peshawar at five, Quetta at one, Gilgit at minus three, Murree at four, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees Celsius.

In the forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla are likely to encounter cold and dry weather, while Leh is expected to face very cold and dry conditions. This morning’s temperatures recorded in the region were: Srinagar and Anantnag at minus two degrees Celsius, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus ten, Pulwama at minus three, Shopian at minus four, and Baramulla at minus one degree Celsius.
