ISLAMABAD: Faizan Zulfiqar and Enub have claimed top positions in the Islamabad Marathon 2024 organized at the trail 3 Parking on Sunday.
Faizan Zulfiqar secured the first slot in the male category Full Marathon while Umair and Mubaris Bukhari grabbed second and third spots, respectively.
In the Full Marathon female category, Enub, Amina Shah and Ayesha Mastoor secured first, second and third spots, respectively. In Half Marathon, male category, Naveed, Irfan and Naghman secured first, second and third positions, respectively.

In the Half Marathon female category, Jennie, Christina Vezel and Huma Rehman got first, second and third positions, respectively. In the 10 kilometers male category, Akhtar, Riaz and Waqar Ahmed secured first, second and third spots, respectively.

In the 10 kilometers female category, Rabeela Farooq, Maheen Tahir and Anum Tahir secured first, second and third spots, respectively. In the 5 kilometers male category, Samiullah, Kamil Hussain and Junaid Dildar secured first, second and third spots, respectively.

In the 5 kilometers female category, Amna Khan, Laila Kazmi and Kanwal secured first, second and third spots, respectively.
Islamabad Marathon
People from all walks of life including children featured in the marathon to encourage and promote healthy activity in the federal capital. A total of 5 categories were kept in the marathon to encourage enthusiastic individuals towards running.

There was a full marathon of 42.2 kilometers which started from Margalla Road to Seventh Avenue to Shakaparian and then back. Then there was a half marathon of 21.1 kilometers, 10km run, 5 kilometers run and also a race kept for children.
