RAWALPINDI: Naib Subedar Khalid Naseer of Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom in a landslide near Gonar Farm, Chilas was laid to rest with full military honors in his native district of Faisalabad, the military’s media wing said on Sunday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Khalid Naseer (46) succumbed to critical injuries and embraced shahadat on 6 April.
A large number of Pakistan Army officers, relatives and local people participated in the funeral prayer.
The ISPR said that the Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and committed to serve the nation at all costs.
