12th OIC Information Ministers’ Meet
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday departed for Turkiye on a two-day visit to represent Pakistan at the 12th OIC Information Ministers’ Conference.
Islamophobia, Propaganda
The conference beginning on Friday, will discuss issues including fake news, Islamophobia and misleading propaganda. The participants will devise a strategy to counter anti-Islam and anti-Muslims propaganda.
The minister will also hold bilateral meetings with her counterparts from the Islamic countries. Matters of mutual interests will be discussed in the meetings.
She will also meet the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye Ahmet Misbah Demircan.
