Assalam-o-Alaikum I am honoured and priviledged to celebrate the second eid-ul-fitr in my second home, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. First of all, I would like to congratulate and extend my warmest greetings to the muslims around the world particularly those in Pakistan and Ethiopia for accomplishing the holy month of Ramadan. This month of Ramadan is a month of Rehmat (mercy) and month of rebuilding connection to Allah. It is a month of compassionate and generosity. May Allah accept all our good deeds, prayers, supplication, dua and fasting during this blessed month. It is imperative to remember those needy segments of society with what Allah has given us. Let us share what we have love, care and support to the needy segment of our society. May Allah accept our prayers and dua. Happy Eid to all of you.
