Met Office Predicts Widespread Rain-Windstorm, Thunderstorm

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Office has predicted widespread rain-windstorms and thunderstorms with heavy snowfall over the hills in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next twelve hours.

Widespread heavy rain and isolated hailstorm is likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, upper Punjab and Kashmir during the period.

Temperature of major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad: 14 °C

Lahore: 8 °C

Karachi: 22 °C

Peshawar: 13 °C

Quetta: 8 °C

GB: 5 °C

Murree: 3 °C

Muzafarabad: 10 °C

The forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cloudy weather with the possibility of rain, wind, thunderstorms, and isolated heavy snowfall in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula.

Leh is expected to experience cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snow. This morning’s temperatures were recorded at six degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramula, fourteen degrees in Jammu, minus four in Leh, and five degrees Celsius in Pulwama and Shopian.
