ISLAMABAD: MG Pakistan has officially launched two innovative electric car variants, the MG4 Essence, and the MG4 Excite. The much-anticipated unveiling ceremony took place in Karachi, where automotive enthusiasts and industry insiders gathered to witness the introduction of these electric marvels. It is noteworthy that MG had previously introduced these models in China in June of this year.
The new electric vehicles boast a host of impressive features, positioning them at the forefront of the electric car market. According to MG Pakistan, both the Essence and Excite models can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers in a mere 7.2 seconds. The vehicles are equipped with a powerful 240 horsepower engine.
Features of MG Pakistan Electric Car
One of the standout features is the rapid charging capability of the MG4, with the battery charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 35 minutes. This efficient charging solution addresses one of the common concerns associated with electric vehicles.
To cater to diverse consumer preferences, MG Pakistan has introduced two distinct battery packs, each associated with a different price point for the Essence and Excite models. The Excel variant comes with a price tag of Rs10.9 million, offering an affordable yet feature-rich option for electric car enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the MG4 Essence, with its premium features and enhanced specifications, is available at Rs12.9 million.
