RAWALPINDI: In a somber gathering, the funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) for Sepoy Muhammad Sohail Shaheed (19), a resident of District Tharparkar, and Sepoy Abdullah Shaheed, (25), a resident of District Mardan were solemnly offered in District Bannu.
The brave soldiers embraced shahadat on the night of November 12/13, 2023, in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District.
With the utmost respect, the Shuhada were laid to rest, receiving full military honours. The poignant ceremony was attended by senior serving military officers, grieving relatives of the Shuhada, and a substantial number of locals from the area.
These sacrifices serve as a poignant reminder, fortifying our collective determination to stand unwavering and resolute. We remain committed to eradicating the menace of terrorism from our beloved motherland at any cost.”
