SRINAGAR: The Modi-led fascist Indian government is trying to distort truth and twist facts to promote its false narrative in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
A report released by Kashmir Media Service on Sunday said that the Narendra Modi regime intended to hoodwink the international community into believing as if everything is normal in the occupied territory.
It said that New Delhi was continuously spreading propaganda to push the false narrative of so-called normalcy returning to the valley.
The report added that India was crafting false narratives of investment and development to justify its illegal actions of August 5, 2019, in the occupied valley.
The report said continued detentions, slapping of draconian laws on the Kashmiri people, every day raids and cordon and search operations debunk India’s claim of normalcy.
Indian Forces Converted IIOJK Into Open Jail
Indian forces have converted IIOJK into an open jail where basic human rights are abused on a perpetual basis. New Delhi has turned the territory into the world’s most militarized zone but intends to paint the picture that all is well in IIOJK. However, the fact is that all is not normal there, the report said.
It further said that India has a long history of using falsehood as its state policy to hoodwink the international community about the real situation in IIOJK and the world community must press New Delhi to allow Kashmiris to decide their future themselves.
Kashmiris must be heard and granted the opportunity to decide their own future, it maintained.
Peace and stability will remain a distant dream in South Asia without settling the long-standing Kashmir issue in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations, the report added.
