MAKKAH: The Muslim World League (MWL) has warned against targeting the city of Rafah in Gaza Strip by Israeli forces and the horrific humanitarian repercussions it will cause, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa in a statement condemned the continuous brutal Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza, taking place under a systematic campaign to destroy all areas in Gaza and displace its residents.
The secretary-general of MWL urged the international community to confront the grave Israeli violations of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.
The league asked the global community to adopt urgent and effective measures to end the continuing aggression against the defenseless civilians of Gaza.
