BEIJING: China is gearing up to introduce the National Engineer Awards, a prestigious recognition for more than 80 individuals and 50 teams, lauding their exceptional contributions to engineering technology.
The initiative, endorsed by the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council, aims to motivate a surge of engineering and technical talents to actively participate in developing a modern socialist nation and propel national rejuvenation.
A comprehensive list of nominees was unveiled, showcasing 83 individuals and 50 teams, with a particular focus on areas such as 5G standards and industry innovation.
