NEOM Hosts Global Contractor Forum to Showcase Development Opportunities

NEOM: NEOM, the innovative development project in northwest Saudi Arabia, recently organized a significant contractor forum that attracted over 100 leading global construction companies.

The two-day event served as a platform to highlight NEOM’s ongoing construction activities and present future project opportunities within its extensive development portfolio.

Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM, led the forum, emphasizing the scale of upcoming projects and the importance of engaging top-tier global construction expertise.

One notable initiative discussed at the forum is “THE LINE,” a 170-kilometer linear urban development slated to welcome residents by 2030.

The event underscored the necessity for innovative construction techniques to meet the unique demands posed by groundbreaking projects like THE LINE.

Currently, NEOM boasts an active workforce of over 140,000 individuals involved in various projects, with projections indicating this number will exceed 200,000 by next year.

The growth of NEOM’s workforce is facilitated by collaborations with both international and local firms, reflecting the project’s commitment to transforming the region into a center for technological and urban innovation.

Attendees at the forum had the opportunity to visit project sites, engage in detailed discussions about potential partnerships, and witness firsthand the vast scale of ongoing construction efforts.

The forum featured a diverse mix of participants, including firms from Saudi Arabia as well as international companies from Asia, Europe, North America, and North Africa.
