Netflix Unveils Full Cast for Wednesday Season 2 as Filming Begins

DUBLIN: Netflix on Tuesday revealed the full cast of Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday season 2 as production began in Ireland for the hit series, featuring both returning favorites and exciting new additions.

Led by Jenna Ortega reprising her role as Wednesday Addams, the series welcomes a stellar ensemble of talent to the fold. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo join as series regulars for the sophomore season, Variety reported.

Zeta-Jones steps into the iconic role of Morticia, while Guzmán portrays Gomez and Ordonez takes on the character of Pugsley. With the entire Addams family enrolling in Nevermore Academy this season, the creators and showrunners, Al Gough and Miles Millar, express their excitement for the inclusion of both established icons and fresh faces.

Returning actors from the first season include Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Evie Templeton, Fred Armisen, and Jamie McShane. Notably absent from the cast list is Percy Hynes-White, who portrayed Xavier Thorpe in the debut season.

Joining the regular cast for Wednesday Season 2 are Billie Piper, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor, adding depth and intrigue to the ensemble. Additionally, Netflix has confirmed the casting of Steve Buscemi as a series regular, while Thandiwe Newton is set to guest star in a yet-to-be-disclosed role.

The guest star roster boasts an impressive lineup, including Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo, promising captivating performances and memorable moments throughout the upcoming season.
