Netherlands Ambassador Calls on Pakistan’s Finance Minister

ISLAMABAD: Netherlands ambassador to Pakistan Henny de Vries called on Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb on Wednesday to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen the existing relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.

Muhammad Aurangzeb warmly welcomed the envoy and expressed appreciation for the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

He underlined the significance of the bilateral relationship, rooted in shared values and a history of collaboration. The discussion also touched upon the structural reforms being implemented by the government of Pakistan to promote economic growth and ensure fiscal sustainability.

The minister said that Pakistan is interested in technology transfer and leveraging the expertise of the Netherlands in agriculture, farm, and dairy production that would lead to enhanced production and exports, contributing significantly to the national economy.
